Product Details

The Seiko Presage HCB005 is part of the Cocktail Time “Around the World” GMT series, where each watch is inspired by a drink from a different country. This one takes its cue from the Corcovado, a Brazilian twist on the Margarita made with tequila and blue curaçao and named after Rio de Janeiro’s famous mountain.

That cocktail comes through in the deep blue sunburst dial, which shifts in tone as it catches the light. Silver hands and applied indices keep it easy to read, and a gold-colored 24-hour hand tracks a second time zone. The 40.5mm stainless steel case has a pink gold-colored finish that adds warmth against the blue, and a box-shaped Hardlex crystal gives the watch its classic Cocktail Time look.

Inside is Seiko’s Caliber 4R34 automatic movement with 24 jewels and about 41 hours of power reserve. It winds itself as you wear it and can also be wound by hand. It also has a hacking seconds hand for precise time setting, a date display, and a GMT function for keeping track of home time while you travel. You can watch the movement at work through the see-through screw case back.

It comes on a brown cow leather strap with a three-fold push-button clasp, which suits its dressy character. With 50 meters of water resistance, it’s ready for everyday wear, from the office to evenings out to your next trip abroad.
