Celebrating the fresh spirit of the 1960s, the series is an homage to Seiko's 1964 “Crown Chronograph,” Japan's first watch with a stopwatch function. The charcoal gray skeletonized dial allows for a view of the 24-jewel automatic movement, which beats at a frequency of 21,600 vibrations per hour, providing a power reserve of approximately 41 hours and manual winding capability. Framed by a silver-tone bezel marked in 5-second increments, the dial has a cutout design inspired by the air-cooled engine of a vintage motorcycle and features LumiBrite hands and markers.
