A stainless-steel case gives the watch a versatile wrist presence. It measures 41 mm in diameter, 13.2 mm thick and 48.5 mm from lug to lug. The curved Hardlex crystal protects the dial, while the rotating compass bezel adds a practical navigational feature and reinforces the field-inspired design. A rugged nylon strap with leather detailing completes the outdoors-ready appearance while keeping the watch comfortable and secure.
Powering the HDB008 is Seiko’s reliable 4R36 automatic movement, featuring 24 jewels, manual-winding capability and an approximate 41-hour power reserve. The stop-seconds function supports precise time setting, while the convenient day-and-date display makes the watch particularly useful for daily wear. A screw-down exhibition case back provides a view of the mechanical movement in action.
